TOKYO TRAVEL GUIDE: Inspired by Kate Spade Saturday, we tell you what to see in Tokyo—and what to wear while you’re at it.

By now, you’ve probably crossed off some of the more obvious options on your travel list. Los Angeles? Check. London? Been there. Estonia? Done and done. So perhaps this time, something a little farther east is on the agenda for your next weekend getaway. Somewhere like ultra hip and cosmopolitan Tokyo—because who doesn’t love all things Japanese?

We’ve mapped out your perfect Tokyo weekend—from a Karaoke-filled Friday night and an early morning trip to the city’s world-renowned Tsukiji Fish Market to a Sunday spent shopping and sitting in the park. There are even a few stops on the Lost in Translation pilgrimage trail and a trip to Takeshita Dori, the street that inspired Gwen Stefani’s “Harajuku Girls.”

Sounds cool, right? Well, before you pack your bags we need to talk about what to put in them—and we’re pretty certain you need a little assistance figuring out how to dress in Tokyo. To help you get your travel wardrobe in order, we went straight to the source of weekend style at Kate Spade Saturday and created three day’s worth of outfits perfect for everything on your Tokyo agenda. And not that we’re playing favorites but that chambray jumpsuit is so chic we’d look the other way if you wanted to wear it twice.

Scroll through the slideshow above to shop our suggestions for the perfect weekend outfits and catch our insider tips on what to see in Tokyo. Getting your passport stamped has never been so stylish.
