When it comes to style, expert advice is almost always necessary. So we called in celebrity stylist Jeanann Williams, who is winding down from awards season, to weigh in on a common fashion conundrum. Having dressed some of the most boldface celebrities in Hollywood—including Naomi Watts, who she outfitted in Armani Privé for the Oscars Red Carpet—her expertise is just what we need on to how to wear a women’s wardrobe essential: Prints. Because, surprisingly, while some of spring’s more challenging trends are actually the easiest to embrace, it’s the seasonless ideas (like stripes and prints) that prove more challenging to throw into the mix.  

A mix-master herself, Williams shows us how to wear prints with flair and two different ways to pick them appropriately. Apparently, rules need not apply when it comes to mixing and matching two different patterns for day. As for how to wear animal print for night? It all boils down to adding polished accessories and choosing a design that acts as a neutral. So, we’re putting it to print.
