What’s better than finding the perfect summer sandal? Finding the perfect summer sandal that doesn’t throw off your whole budget. Unless you’re living somewhere perpetually warm, like Los Angeles or Phoenix, chances are you don’t wear your sandals for more than a few short months out of the year. For that reason, it’s not always appetizing to spend oodles of cash on a shoe that might not feel right the next time warm weather finally comes around.
Then there’s the other side of the coin. Cheap sandals are just that—cheap. They give you blisters, they won’t last more than a few wears and they just won’t look as great as a higher-quality pair.
This is why I’m a big fan of the middle ground. Sandals in that range between about $50 and $200 are what in what I call “the sweet spot.” They’re cute, functional, and usually made from real leather or other high-quality material that won’t tear up your newly pedicured and beach-bound feet.
Shop our slideshow above to see just what I’m talking about. Brands like Sam Edelman, DV by Dolce Vita, Elizabeth and James and Madewell have a huge selection of stylish sandals that all ring in under $200. This way, you can add more than one pair to your summer wardrobe to ensure you’ve got options for any occasion.
