Neon is everywhere—quite literally. It’s the sold-out shade of Rag & Bone skinny, the “must-have” spin on the PS1, and the most shocking accent on the runways at Christopher Kane. But many women cringe when seeing what a vibrant shade of highlighter yellow does to the complexion, or the way the derrière suddenly seems twice the size when dressed in fluorescent pink. In short, this trend (like all trends) is not for everyone. That is, of course, unless you wear it differently. You’ll make a statement for sure (it draws attention to the hands, so don’t forget the Sterling-approved Dior nail creme) but one that suggests a sense of creativity and fun.
