Last night, Emporio Armani celebrated the opening of the brand's Madison Avenue flagship with appearances by some of Fashion Week’s biggest boldface names. “When you buy an Armani dress, you can wear it for the rest of your life," model Angela Lindvall told us. "I wanted to be here and celebrate that." The party kicked into high gear when three rising musical acts—Skylar Grey, The Drums, and Ladyhawke each took the stage on the store’s top floor.
Located just north of 57th Street, the store clocks in at 6,000-square-feet and will offer a full range of Emporio Armani’s Italian-designed wares—strappy shoes and covetable dresses included. Menswear will also hang on the racks, which is reason enough for Ryan Lochte to make a few visits. “Armani has that clean cut," he said. "Everything fits really well and the materials are really great quality." He motioned for us to touch his leather jacket as proof. (Ed note: Swoon.) Click through to see the best shots from the bash.
