The style icon graces Playboy’s 60th anniversary issue and the nearly forty-year-old doesn’t disappoint. Did you really expect any less from Kate the Great?
“She’s a worldwide celebrity and iconic and crosses the boundaries from sexual imagery to upscale modeling. It’s a natural for us,” says Hugh Hefner of the highly-anticipated issue.
Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the “unprecedented” 18-page spread features Moss sporting full-on bunny costume—and smoldering states of undress to tasteful nudes. Kate’s classic cheeky demeanor is on full display too. The feature includes a Q&A with legendary Welsh singer Tom Jones, where she answers questions such as who she would invite to her dinner party (“naughty guests” like Jack Nicholson, photographer David Bailey, Stevie Nicks, Catherine Deneuve, Joan Collins, Hugh Hefner, and her husband Jamie Hince) and plays Marry, Fuck, Kill with Marc Jacobs, Naomi Campbell, and Piers Morgan (“Kill Piers, marry Marc, fuck Naomi.").
"Playboy's anniversary edition is a testament to 60 years of beautiful women, discerning taste, sexual emancipation, groundbreaking fiction and world-changing journalism," says Playboy’s editorial director Jimmy Jellinek. "Having Kate Moss, a global icon and the most important supermodel of the past 25 years, appear on our cover makes this issue the perfect way to launch Playboy's next 60 years."
